Say what you will of Christopher Hitchens, he is always thought provoking and usually hilarious. Whatever your opinions, he will challenge them, and make you think.
Here, with signature wit, Hitchens makes the case that opposition to Rick Warren should not be limited to a, “constituency of politically organized homosexuals.” Indeed. There are more reasons to oppose Warren and all he represents than there are stars in the sky. Hitchens, describing Warren, offers five:
a man who is either a half-witted dupe, a hopeless naif, a cynical tourist who does favors for the powerful, a religious nut bag, a cowardly liar, or perhaps some unappetizing combination of all five. I personally think that the all-five answer is the correct one
