Enough! No More Debates with Mormons and their Allies

Boy, this Christian/Mormon debate is fun, isn’t it? Loyal readers are bored, but the strangers entering into the fray are tweaking my stat-o-meter, and my personality is one that wants to push it higher, higher, higher. Nevertheless, this will be the final posting on the subject. Lessons learned: Mormons really want to be called Christians. Traditional Christians continue to believe that adherence to the New Testament and Gospels, exclusively, a Christian makes. Some Christians are willing to call Mormons Christians, others, not so much. Personal lesson learned, which is really just a reminder: attempts to prove wrong the beliefs held by people “of faith” will fail.

    True.

However that has very little to do with this debate. The debate over the definition of a word in English normally is settled by a decent English dictionary. This one should be settled that way too but political/sectarian motivations make it otherwise.
